Since 2015, Potatoes have become the fourth staple food in China. Additionally, potatoes have a slightly lower glycemic index than rice, making them a more suitable choice for individuals with diabetes. Potatoes are low-energy-density foods with a water content of up to 70%, and they contain a significant amount of resistant starch, which contributes to their strong satiety effect. With their ability to fulfill daily nutritional requirements while promoting a feeling of fullness, potatoes are an ideal choice for those aiming to lose weight.
